As our upstairs bathroom renovations near completion, I wanted to share our all-white bathroom design boards to give you a sneak peek of what they will look like. If you can’t tell, I’m giddy with joy to have the opportunity to design TWO more bathrooms in our home! Both of these bathrooms are on the upstairs level so I chose to match the tile and vanities, but change up the mirror, lighting, and decor.
My husband completed the demolition over the Thanksgiving holiday, and our contractor finished construction just before Christmas. However, both vanities were on backorder at the time of order and we experienced another delay from the manufacturer. We are scheduled to receive them (finally!) in the next week and then I’ll share a full reveal of each bathroom. Trust me, you won’t want to miss these drastic Before & Afters!
All White Bathroom Design Board # 1 | Large Guest Bathroom
The first bathroom is the larger than the other and its primary use is for our guests. The floor tile, shower tile, walls, and vanity are all white, but I brought warmth to the room with gold sconces, soft abstract artwork, and a linen shower curtain. There’s a window allowing in plenty of natural light so this one will shine brightly all day long. All sources listed below.
4″ x 12″ Matte White Subway Tile | Linen Ruffle Shower Curtain | Arch Venetian Mirror | Winter Gold Sconces | 8″ Widespread Chrome Faucet | 48″ White Vanity with Carrera Marble Top | Gold Abstract Artwork | White Chevron Floor Tile
To give you an idea of the previous 1980’s bathroom, below is the “Before”.
All White Bathroom Design Board # 2 | Small Kids Bathroom
The second bathroom is the smaller than the other and it will primarily be used by our daughter. Again the floor tile, shower tile, walls, and vanity are all white, but I brought warmth to the room with gold lighting, fun accessories, and a custom wood mirror. Unfortunately, this bathroom does not have a window so my primary goal was to keep this space as bright as possible. All sources listed below.
White Chevron Floor Tile | 4″ x 12″ Matte White Subway Tile | Winter Gold Double Sconce | Custom Wood Mirror | 8″ Widespread Chrome Faucet | 36″ White Vanity with Carrera Marble Top | White Tassel Shower Curtain | Brass Medallion Hook
Another 1980’s bathroom with sweet salmon walls, below is the “Before”.
Beautiful Open White Vanity Options
Since our new vanities have been on back order, here are very similar options at 42″ width & 55″ width that are currently in stock. I found that purchasing a vanity with the sink and marble top was significantly cheaper than purchasing just the vanity base and hiring a countertop company to install a top.
