Softest Crib Sheets
Chamois is a super soft fabric, though not as widely available as some of the others below.
This crib sheet is made of 100% polyester Chamois, which is an ultra-soft fabric and ideal for baby’s delicate skin, helping to keep them warm and cozy. The fabric is heavier than flannel which helps it maintain its shape and washes easily, softening even more with each use.
It’s available in three colors: pink, white & gray.

Muslin Crib Sheets
Cotton muslin is an extremely popular fabric for baby crib sheets due to how breathable it is.
The first set of muslin crib sheets I’ll show you are on the higher-end price wise, but boy the prints are gorgeous!
They are triple-layered for a bit of loft, breathable to keep baby comfortable through the night, and specially washed for a relaxed and rumpled look. Both are Oeko-tex certified, which means it’s woven from only the purest materials and free of harmful toxins.
The Kalahari crib sheet is perfect for gender-neutral nurseries and the Priano crib sheet comes in both pink and blue for baby girls or boys.
These next muslin crib sheets fall in the mid-price range.
Playful, nature-themed prints make a perfect palette for baby. From whimsical to traditional, these original designs compliment the look of your nursery decor.
In addition to being a light, breathable fabric with exceptional softness, muslin is also flexible and gently stretches for supreme comfort.
Finally, the Aden and Anais crib sheet is the most budget friendly option, with a variety of fun prints for any gender.

100 Percent Organic Cotton Crib Sheets
First of all – why should you buy organic bedding? Here’s a great article with breaking down all of the reasons.
While organic cotton crib sheets are definitely the most popular, in my opinion they are not the softest option. So, you’ll have to weigh what is most important to you… is it remaining chemical free? Is it breathability? Or is it softness to the touch?
Now here are some cute organic options for baby boys. Don’t you love the broken arrow pattern, sky blue color, and monochromatic safari print?
These are made by well known brands such as Burt’s Bees Baby and Pottery Barn Kids.
I LOVE these delicate, classic prints that are also made of 100% organic cotton.
The first one is Winnie the Pooh and the second one is Woodland Creatures.
The striped ones are Pehr crib sheets. In addition to being GOTS Certified organic cotton, they boast that their crib sheets are screen printed by hand using AZO-free dyes and are ethically made.
Bamboo Crib Sheets
Bamboo is in-between cotton and silk in terms of the feel. It’s very smooth without being slippery and is incredibly soft to touch.
These bamboo crib sheets come in THE cutest designs and have 5 star reviews all around.
They come in rainbow, “You Are Loved” script, and blush.
What fabric will you choose for your baby’s nursery?
There is no right answer!
Weigh what factors are most important to you and then try out multiple fabric types.
In order to change out baby’s sheets weekly, you’ll need a minimum of 2 crib sheets to alternate washing.
If baby will be heading to daycare down the road, they will request 2 crib sheets from you to send in as well.
