I am excited to share with you another incredible home in my Design Crush Series – the 42nd Street project located in the Garden Oaks neighborhood of Houston, Texas. This custom, new construction home was designed and built by Allegiance Builders. Allegiance Builders is a family-owned business run by the Jenkins husband and wife team. They first started out with renovations and then progressed into custom home building.
All photographs were shot by Melissa Fitzgerald Photography. I know you will love this project as much as I do… so be sure to save the images you love to Pinterest!

Look at this expansive, wide-open kitchen! A massive kitchen island provides ample prep space and becomes a natural area for your guests to gather around.

A pull-down gooseneck faucet allows you to reach every area of a large sink. These were typically only used in commercial kitchens, but now they are gaining popularity with the average consumer. Not only does this faucet look high-end, but it is also very affordable.

Although many of us have a formal dining room, typically our eat-in kitchens get the most use on a daily basis. I love this sun-lit breakfast nook right within the kitchen.

Wine Bar
Oh, what I would give for a wine bar like this! In addition to the wine fridge, there is also additional cabinets and dual pantries for extra storage.
The Chicago-style brick backsplash adds cozy warmth to an otherwise neutral kitchen.

Just off of the wine bar, there is a large, formal dining room for entertaining guests.
