We first picked up the GB Pockit Stroller to try out on our first trip to Disney.
I wanted a super small, foldable stroller that preferably fit in the overhead compartment of the airplane.
If you’re not checking bags, it’s really nice not having to gate check your stroller while traveling!
One of the main selling points of the GB Pockit Stroller is that due to its small size it’s both an umbrella stroller and a compact travel stroller.
Does it live up to its hype though?
We’re here to give you our unbiased, honest review of the GB Pockit Stroller, in much more depth than a quick Amazon review.
For size references, my son is around 3 years old and approximately 40 inches tall and weighs around 35 lbs.

Pros of the GB Pockit

Cons of the Pockit Stroller
While the GB Pockit Stroller has plenty of Pros, we also quickly noticed some Cons as well we’d like to share with you…
- The sun canopy on the gB Pockit Air is extremely flimsy and got bent really quickly
- It has pretty small wheels so while it has a smooth ride on pavement it was not as good in uneven terrain
- The storage space of the storage basket is super tiny so you’ll barely be able to fit your purse in it if anything
- While I was walking, my legs were often hitting the back of the stroller because it wasn’t quite deep enough
Thankfully the list of cons were not longer than the things we liked!
Is the GB Stroller Worth It?
The GB Pockit Stroller is an extremely great option for city life or traveling on public transportation such as airplanes, trains, taxis, etc since it is so compact.
You wouldn’t need to stow it anywhere, you can literally hold it or set it down right next to your feet.
That’s the main reason why time and time again moms are choosing the GB Pockit Stroller.
However, for everyday use, I think its small wheels would start to bother me coupled with my legs hitting the back of the stroller often due to its depth.
Also, for use at Disney, it totally needs a larger canopy for actual sun protection on a long, hot day.
I know they now make the GB Pockit+ which has a much larger sun canopy, while still meeting hand luggage size requirements.

So, is this GB Stroller worth it?
At a price point of $150-$200, only you can decide if it’s the right choice for your family with its possible limited use depending on how much you travel.
It’s the lightest stroller you can buy with unique ultra-compact strollerfolds so if that’s your number one priority it’s a really good stroller.
If you’d prefer additional features, consider the GB Pockit+ All-Terrain, GB Pockit+ All-City, or another small stroller brand.
Final Words on the gb Pockit Air All Terrain
The most important thing to remember about the GB Pockit Stroller is that it is PERFECT for ease of use and traveling.
It’s the perfect lightweight stroller for airplanes, trains, taxis etc and can be used for an age range of 6 months old to 55 lbs.
If you need more an everyday stroller though, I’d recommend looking at a more practical stroller with just a little more size and of course more features.
